How are norms developed for the Clark Wilson Group's Task Cycle® surveys?

Normative data can be valuable for showing individuals how they compare to others in their own organization or outside.

The Task Cycle® surveys published by Clark Wilson Group use a sample of individuals who are considered to be functioning well in their organizations. The data has been collected for some surveys for 30 years. The norm groups are derived from a number of industries. Norms are checked every eighteen months by taking a sample of people who are functioning well in their jobs and comparing their scores to the established norms. If some significant differences are detected, the sampling is repeated to check for a pattern. If a pattern is confirmed, the norms are changed.

We often help organizations develop internal norms. The composite scores begin to be useful after 80-100 cases. Internal norms can be a powerful addition to your feedback program. Please ask about these norms.
